This type of editing comes after the developmental edit and is concerned with micro edits: correcting errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The copyedit flags any inconsistencies and addresses word choice, phrasing; and fact-checking. The goal is to make your writing clear and professional. We use The Chicago Manual of Style; however, if you have an in-house style guide, we will edit to your preference. Our copyediting service is recommended for every book and is a must before self-publishing.
