Having been a professional chef since 2003, Karina Hines is a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and is involved with the IFM Therapeutic Diets Protocols. On the side, she is an herbalist and aromatherapist, and sees food as medicine for the body, soul, and mind. She follows and encourages biodynamic agriculture practices.
She has written for the 'Botanical Kitchen' website as well as botanical anthology magazines, the 'Blue Dot Living' magazine, and for 'Liberty Pub - Integrative & Complementary Therapies Journal'. Not to mention, she has posted recipes on many different websites over the years.
